A healthy, energizing, delicious snack

If you’re like me and crave sweeter snacks over savory ones, then these energy balls are perfect for you. I stay away from all processed sugar because it’s honestly so bad for our health, and there are SO many alternative natural sugars to enjoy instead! Some of my favorite sources of natural, unprocessed sugar are dates, honey, maple syrup, and fruit.

There are plenty of ways to use those ingredients to make things like granola, bread, and of course these energy balls. I love these energy balls because I can store them for a long time in the freezer, and easily grab them when I’m on the go - on my way to a yoga class, before I go for a run, as a quick breakfast if I’m running late for work, you name it. They don’t “melt” when they’re taken out of the freezer either, so I bring them with me even if I’m not eating them right away and I don’t have to worry about them making a huge mess.

Give them a try - I’m pretty sure they won’t disappoint!
